Stan Walker is giving you the chance to be his EXCLUSIVE Twitter reporter at the video shoot for his brand new single "Unbroken"

Stan Walker is back with his fantastic new single "Unbroken", and you could be Stan's special guest at his video shoot in Sydney next week! You could go behind-the-scenes and live-tweet the shoot throughout the day, and meet Stan himself on set. "Unbroken" is the brand new single from Stan's forthcoming album, and was written by Ryan Tedder of One Republic. Ryan wrote Leona Lewis's "Bleeding Love" and has also penned tracks for Kelly Clarkson and the Backstreet Boys!

HOW TO ENTER:

First of all, you'll need to be on Twitter. To sign up to Twitter, go here: www.twitter.com Head to Stan's Twitter page – www.twitter.com/1stanwalker, reply to Stan's official tweet about the competition and tell him why you should be his video shoot Twitter reporter, in 140 characters or less.

You'll need to be available to fly to Sydney on Thursday April 8, and the competition is open to Australian residents only. Terms and conditions are below.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS – Stan Walker | Twitter Reporter | 2010


1. Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these terms and conditions.

2. Entry into the competition (Competition) is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. To enter the Competition, entrants must reply to Stan Walker’s official Competition tweet in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

3. The entrant must:

(a) have an existing twitter account, or sign up for a new twitter account at www.twitter.com;

(b) visit Stan Walker’s official twitter page at www.twitter.com/1stanwalker;

(c) locate Stan’s tweet announcing the Competition; and

(d) reply to that tweet, describing in 140 character or less why the entrant should be Stan’s official twitter reporter.

4. Entry is open to Australian residents of all ages.

5. By entering the Competition, unless stated otherwise by the entrant, entrants agree that Sony may use the entrant’s contact details in any media for future competition, marketing or publicity purposes without further reference or consent. Sony will collect personal information about entrants for the purposes of conducting the Competition and awarding the prize. In accordance with the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), entrants have a right to access most of the information Sony holds about them. Please refer to Sony’s privacy policy on www.sonymusic.com.au for further details. All entries become the property of Sony.

6. This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.

7. The most creative entry, as chosen by Sony and Stan Walker, will be deemed the winner and will be awarded the prize, which will consist of:

(a) return flights to Sydney for the winner and one guest from the winner’s nearest capital city (winner located in Sydney do not receive this portion of the Prize or any alternative prize);

(b) the opportunity to attend the music video shoot for Stan Walker’s new single “Unbroken” on 8 April 2010 (the Shoot);

(c) the opportunity to meet Stan and be Stan’s official twitter reporter from the Shoot; and

(d) an autographed copy of Stan’s current album “Introducing...Stan Walker” (the Prize).

The value of the Prize is A$600 plus the money-can’t-buy component.

The prize does not include accommodation, and the winner and guest will be flown in and out of Sydney on 8 April 2010. If the winner is unable to redeem the prize on 8 April 2010 then the prize will be forfeited and Sony may award the prize to another entrant in the Sony’s discretion.

8. The total prize pool has a value of A$600, plus the money-can’t-buy component. The prize value listed above is the maximum value of the prize. The prize winner is only entitled to the prize as outlined above and is not entitled to any additional prizing or cash reimbursement to compensate for any difference in actual prize redemption cost and maximum value. The prize must be redeemed on the dates set out in these Terms and Conditions, or as otherwise notified to the winner by Sony.

9. The Competition commences at 4:00pm AEDT on Wednesday 31 March 2010 and concludes at 3:00pm AEDT on Tuesday 6 April 2010 (Competition Period). Entries must be received by 3:00pm AEDT on Tuesday 6 April 2010. The entries will be judged no later than 5:00pm AEDT on 6 April 2010 and the winner will be notified via a tweet from Stan Walker. Sony may extend the closing date in its sole discretion. All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt NOT at the time of sending by entrants. Late entries will not be eligible.

10. The winner will be required to provide a telephone number and email address to Stan Walker via a Twitter Direct Message to enable Sony to provide further details of the Prize and how the winner may redeem the Prize. If the winner has not provided further contact details via direct message by 3:00pm AEDT on 7 April 2010, the winner will forfeit the Prize and Sony may award the Prize to another entrant, in Sony’s discretion.

11. Sony will have creative control over the winner’s tweets from the Shoot, and the winner may be required to tweet from a device provided by Sony, in its discretion. Sony may require the winner and guest to complete a waiver of liability, or other documentation prior to allowing the winner access to the Shoot.

12. Sony’s decision in relation to any aspects of the Competition is final and binding on every person who enters and no correspondence will be entered into.

13. Each entrant may enter once per valid twitter account controlled by the entrant.

14. Sony will not be responsible for any costs associated with winning the prize unless specifically stated in these terms and conditions.

15. Employees and agents of Sony and their immediate families are not eligible to enter the Competition.

16. If for some reason beyond Sony’s control, it is not possible to supply the prize as advertised, Sony will be entitled to supply a substitute prize in Sony’s discretion of equal or greater value. If the Competition is not capable of running as planned due to any reason (including, but not limited to fraud, a state of emergency, natural disaster, war, technical failures or any other causes) Sony reserves the right without liability to the entrants to cancel, modify, terminate or suspend the Competition.

17. No prize is transferable nor can any prize be taken as cash other than as specifically set out in these terms and conditions. No compensation is payable if the winner cannot receive any aspect of the prize for any reason. The prize value is correct at the time of printing and Sony accepts no responsibility for any variation.

18. Under the Trade Practices Act 1974 (Cth) and other statutes there are some warranties and conditions that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified or can only be excluded, restricted or modified to a limited extent. Sony excludes all warranties and conditions to the extent allowable by these laws. Sony accepts no liability or responsibility of any kind for any defect with the prizes nor for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) which is suffered or sustained in connection with the Competition or the prize in any way to the fullest extent allowable by law.

19. Sony is not responsible for any misdirected, late or incomprehensible entries in the Competition. Sony is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading or uploading any materials in this Competition.

20. Sony is not responsible for any tax implications that may arise from winning a prize in the Competition. Entrants should seek independent financial advice about such matters.

22. Sony in its absolute discretion reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and to disqualify entrants if they tamper with the entry process including but not limited to submission of an entry not in accordance with these terms and conditions.

23. These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between each entrant and Sony.

24. The promoter is Sony Music Entertainment Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 95 107 133 184) of 11 – 19 Hargrave Street, East Sydney, NSW, 2010 (Sony).
